Pilgrimage Village Hue

The last day of my central Vietnam stay has come and as usual I save the best for the end.

We moved from our city hotel Eldora (4* city hotel with huge rooms) to the Pilgrimage Village Resort and Spa in outer Hue. After visiting Holy Lavang in the morning I was worn out by 2 pm.

Luckily we booked a private transfer with Hue Private Transfer (highly recommend Mr Hung) who drove us to Pilgrimage Village. And our stay was perfect. The lushing garden surrounding, the nice staff, the spaaaaaa, the pool AND the Upgrade to a Honeymoon Bungalow… i could go on and on.

What I like:

-The Village Design: It is like going back in time and staying at a Vietnamese Village. So peaceful 🙂

-Vedana Spa: The Vietnamese Massage was good and professional. The Price reasonable for a 5 star resort. I regretted not staying longer than one night because the allday spa package for about 100 USD sounds perfect for my spa loving heart.

– The Pool and Pool Bar. I have seen many pools including some infinity pools but the Pilgrimage Pool is one of the nicest one so far. After a sunny day sightseeing it is the best to jump into the cold water, swim two laps and order a fresh coconut at the pool bar.

– Pilgrimage Village is good value for money. In low season the rack rates starts at 60 USD per night

What I do not like:

I cant find a single thing to complain. Even the location is good because you can take the complimentary shuttle (6 times a day) to the city centre (the return is at 9.30 pm the latest).
